Ironwood Partners is a husband-and-wife team serving small to mid-sized WI businesses. My wife Sandra McQuillan serves as President, managing operations and client accounting. I'm Timothy McQuillan, focusing on strategic CFO work - mentoring, guidance, and forward-looking decisions.

My approach was shaped by three years teaching college accounting. When students understood not just the what but the why behind the numbers, they transformed from memorizers into thinkers. That taught me the real power is in building confidence, not just technical knowledge.

I carried that into my CPA career and now into Ironwood Partners. The best decisions happen when everyone understands what the numbers mean and has the confidence to act on them.

That's why we chose the name Ironwood Partners. The ironwood is a shadow tree - it shelters what grows beneath it, enriches the soil, provides foundation for others to thrive. Strong but not showy. Steady through every season.
